Expressive Writing Workshops
In addition to providing specific writing services, Lori also offers a variety of expressive writing workshops geared toward holistic healing and wellness for students, parents, children, veterans, active-service members, trauma survivors and retirement communities.
Lori is available to teach workshops and read her work at universities, schools, and in community settings.
Background
Lori is a published writer whose works have appeared in several publications, including Metropolis, The Utne Reader and The Durango Herald. She received a BA in English and a Minor in Art from the Pennsylvania State University, and she received a Master’s in Education from Chestnut Hill College. She is a former Teacher’s Institute of Philadelphia Fellow as well as a former Philadelphia Writing Project Fellow. Both appointments were held at The University of Pennsylvania.
She loves the outdoors and spent many years living among the majestic San Juan Mountains in Colorado. She is fascinated by the natural world and all of its whims. You can find her hiking along streams and trails with her son, or tending to her organic garden in beautiful Upper Bucks County. She enjoys wild-crafting for home remedies, practicing yoga, and cultivating her spirituality through music, poetry and art.
